PRIVACY AND SECURITY STATEMENT OF DOLCE VITA VILLAS

We at SIR Realty s.r.l. (owner of the Dolce Vita Villas brand) undertake to our customers to gather from them only such information as is appropriate to provide the very best of villa and apartment holidays in our highly select range of properties, to use that information appropriately and to protect it in accordance with the law and best practice. Our detailed policy on this is as follows:

INFORMATION WE HOLD
We gather from you only such information as you voluntarily provide to us. This information will derive from:
1 The electronic booking enquiries you send via our web site
2 The hard copy booking request form we ask you to submit for booking purposes
3 Telephone conversations and e-mails between you and our personnel,
4 Live chats using liveperson or skype
5 Your response to the check-in form we send you to facilitate the process of your arrival
6 Your response to our request for feed-back after your departure
7 Information contained on bank statements provided in connection with bank transfers and cheques encashed by our banks.
We may hold such information in hard copy or store it electronically


INFORMATION WE DO NOT HOLD
Credit and Debit card details. We will receive credit and debit card details only by prior arrangement with you, and after you have completed, signed and returned a specific Payment Authorisation Form.. We keep no records of your credit or debit card details. After the payment is processed your the file will be deleted and and hard copy documents will be destroyed.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We will use your information to advise you on and plan villa and apartment holidays, and to respond to your enquiries. When you rent a property, we will use the information to give you access to your Members Area on our web site which provides you with up-to-date information on the progress of your booking and copies of important communications with you. We may also use it to send you communications, newsletters and the like to inform you of opportunities, bargains and items of interest from time to time. You can tell us at any time and by any method that you don't wish to receive these, and we will delete you from our mailing list.

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
SIR REALTU S.R.L DOES NOT SELL OR HIRE YOUR INFORMATION TO ANYONE. We may, at your request or with your consent, pass information to our trusted associates for the purposes of providing additional services during your stay at our properties. These may include taxi or car hire firms, boat rentals, cooks, chefs and catering services, guides, language teachers and translators, by way of example only.

CONTROL OF YOUR INFORMATION
We will correct your information as soon as we know it is incorrect. You can request a copy of your information at any time. On your request we will delete all personal information held other than your name and contact details. You may alter the password giving you access to your Members Area at any time.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM US
You will receive a series of communications from us at the time of booking, paying initial deposit, paying any balance due, for check-in purposes prior to arrival, at and after check-out.

SECURITY
The security of your information is paramount. Our computers (where each user has a password access which is modified every 30 days) are protected by industry-standard firewalls and other security measures and our offices are secure and alarmed. We hold financial data only to the extent this is provided to us in statements from our banks. These do not include any identifiable credit card details. We gather credit card details only by telephone and keep no written or electronic records of them. Our credit card processor's security policy fully complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) standards, adopting Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect cardholder data.

CHANGES TO POLICY
This policy was adopted in May 2014 to the exclusion of the then existing policy. Any subsequent changes will be notified at the top of this document in subsequent versions together with a summary of the implemented changes.
