Villa Frantoio di Poreta is one of three units part of a historic hamlet called Borgo di Poreta set on a   hillside dominating the surrounding countryside with spectacular views   overlooking the valley of Spoleto, Poreta Castle and the township below. The   hamlet, whose origins date back to 1673, consists of the building containing   the apartments, a private church, a small square and the main villa (where the   owner lives) which once belonged to Cardinal Annibale della Genga, elected Pope   in 1823 with the name Leone XII.  Borgo di Poreta is composed of Frantoio, Melograno and La Colomba which are   independent units each with its private outside area. The entire hamlet has   been skilfully restored and renovated, enhancing and improving the old   dwellings. The units share the swimming pool area which is located at a lower   level 25/30 meters away. All apartments have air conditioning through out .  Poreta is strategically situated for visits to the most unforgettable sites in   Umbria such as Assisi, Todi, and Spoleto; Trevi is just a short drive away.   Frantoio di Poreta is perfect for families with children and for adults wanting   quiet relaxation with the opportunity to visit the historic sites of Umbria. In   July, don't miss the Spoleto music festival.
