Basic information

Is a country house typical of Tuscany's Chianti area, halfway between Florence and Siena. It is beautifully located within olive groves on top of a hill, therefore with views over astounding landscapes that make this area so well known. This hundred year old farmhouse has been entirely refurbished and enriched with all modern facilities, including a large circular swimming pool with attached Jacuzzi pool, air conditioning, mini-bars, safe, Satellite TV, telephone and internet access in almost all bedrooms. However, what makes it unique in addition to all of these facilities for the ultimate relaxing holiday is its health and beauty centre. Here you have another Jacuzzi, indoor heated this time, a sauna and a gym area ? just perfect for those who take their physical wellbeing seriously. You can even take in the views at the same time through its picture window facing the garden and the surrounding hills.
Guests staying at Casale Tavernaccia can enjoy their holiday dividing their time between the property and its facilities and easy trips to the world heritage sites of Florence, Siena and the other historical towns of the area.
Prices shown are for up to 12 persons, for larger groups see Casa Tavernaccia, which can accomodate up to 18 persons, and for an additional 4 persons (total 22), there is an extra cost ranging from Euro 1,000 to Euro 2,000 depending on the season.

The villa's layout

Villa ground floor A large entrance with fireplace and sitting area leads, at the bottom left, to a small lobby with a comfortable sitting room with fireplace and cooking area on the right and to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub on the left. On the other side of the entrance, bottom right, another small lobby leads to two small baths and to a spacious cooking area followed by a sitting area with fireplace and by a large dining area. The main stairway bringing to the upper floor is immediately on the right of the entrance.
Villa first floor Upstairs, a large and comfortable sitting room with fireplace leads to the various areas of the floor. On the left, another sitting room leads to three double bedrooms all with e suite bathroom with shower. Straight from the sitting room, a corridor leads to the other bedrooms, the first one is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub, followed by another double bedroom with bath. At the end of the corridor a few steps down lead to a double bedroom with private terrace and en suite bathroom. On the right of the corridor another double bedroom, with mezzanine and en suite bathroom. The flight of stairs leading to the dovecote also starts from the sitting room while as well as the play room with internet corner which completes the floor.
Villa second floor Upstairs, the double bedroom on the dovecote enjoys the most beautiful 360? views over the valley.
