Basic information

Five minutes drive from Greve in Chianti, a magnificent, 18th century villa dominates the hill overlooking the famous Nozzole Winery. Set in the heart of the magical Chianti region, Villa Cabreo is the property of one Tuscany’s most respected and successful winemakers. It underwent full renovation in 2011.
In Villa Cabreo guests breathe the history and culture that is such a part of Chianti wine production – of course wine tasting and wine tours are regular activities here, expertly organised for visitors and wine professionals alike.
With its nine superbly appointed bedrooms, Villa Cabreo offers superb and genuine Tuscan accommodation. It is the ideal stopover for travellers keen to relax for a couple of days as they enjoy an unforgettable tour of the Chianti area.
Villa Cabreo is furnished in classic Tuscan style and all rooms offer first-rate comforts. The villa’s kitchen also stages cookery classes in Italian cuisine. Villa Cabreo is a perfect venue for weddings and large celebrations in general.

The villa's layout

Ground Floor:
A corridor to the right of the large entrance, divides the spacious living-room, with snooker table, from the large wine-tasting room. There is a generous cloakroom to the left of the entrance; a stairway leads up through the building towards the rear garden.
First Floor:
Access is gained both by stairs and elevator.
The corridor from the elevator leads to the five bedrooms, three are double bedrooms with king size beds and the other two are twin bedrooms with two single beds. Each bedroom has it fitted bathroom with shower. A second and longer corridor opens out to the spacious kitchen and superb master dining room – with seating for up to thirty-four, (perfect for celebrations and dinner parties). Further on there is a smaller dining room, and a living room. The floor is completed by two larger double bedrooms, one with a king size canopy bed with en-suite bathroom with shower, the other a kind size double bed with ensuite bathroom with tub ans shower.
Second Floor:
A smaller corridor leads the way to two double bedrooms with king size beds, both with en-suite bathrooms, with shower.
