Villa Argentarola
Italy - Tuscany villas - Argentario Villas
Basic information
Available from May to October. Location Seaside - Sleeps 15 - Bedrooms 8 - Bathrooms 7 - PoolThe significant feature of this modern, even futuristic, villa is the view from the many terraces within its private garden and from the villa itself. Before it, the islands of Argentarola, Giglio and Montecristo are set like jewels in the perfectly blue sea lapping at the foot of the villa's surroundings, an almost untouched stretch of typically Tuscan scrubland coast.
The style of the villa is unique. Its owner personally conceived all the various elements of its architecture and was closely involved with the work of specialised artisans, choosing from the finest materials available, including rare marbles and woods. Its elegance lies in its simplicity, its components reduced to the bare essentials. It is bright and airy, thanks in large part to the use of sliding panels which protect from the heat but allow the glorious views to be fully enjoyed almost without interruption.
The villa belongs to the exclusive and private Cala Moresca complex which provides all the security and privacy needed for a truly relaxing holiday. The complex has its own sea platform and swimming pool, a 10 minute walk or a mini-bus ride away, to enable visitors to bathe in the warm waters of the Tyrrhenian sea.
The lively and fashionable town of Porto Santo Stefano is only seven minutes away by car, and from there you can hire all sorts of boats and catch the ferry for day trips to Giglio island.
Please note that for safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not accepted at this villa.

The villa's layout
From an electronically-controlled gate, a small ramp leads to the parking area. From there, stairs lead to the main house and 2 annexes, two more annexes being located on a slightly higher level.
Main villa: the main entrance leads directly into the bright living room with fire place and dining area. The front of this large room is a full length window providing fantastic views over the sea. From the centre of the room, transparent stairs lead to a sitting area with large flat screen TV. To the right of the living room a sliding wooden panel leads to a sitting room with an antique fire place dating back to the 17th Century, followed by a single bedroom with en-suite shower room. To the back, a door leads to the fully equipped kitchen and another door leads to a further single bedroom with its own shower room. A guest WC completes this floor.
1st annexe: located on the same level of the main villa, this annexe is composed of two double bedrooms sharing a shower room and by a living room with kitchen corner.
2nd annexe: also located on the same level as the main villa, this annexe is composed of two double bedrooms sharing a shower room and of a living area with kitchen corner.
3rd annexe: access to this annexe is from a terrace at a higher level than the main house, reachable via external stairs. The main entrance leads to a living area with kitchen corner and sofa bed. To the left there are a shower room and a double bedroom. 4th annexe: located on the same level as the 3rd annexe, the 4th annexe is composed by a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
A 5th annexe (tower), located on a lower level than the main house, is occupied by the personnel working at the villa.
