Basic information

A beautiful country home, Villa di Scordia stands in the grounds of one of the most important and attractive orange farms in Eastern Sicily. The entire property stretches over 900 acres with the Villa itself ensconced in a superb tropical garden of five acres. Villa di Scordia is twenty miles east of Catania, just thirty minutes away by car. In thirty minutes guests can also reach the nearest beach. Thanks to its location, it is the ideal venue for combining absolute relaxation with unforgettable trips to Sicily?s wealth of cultural and natural attractions. The property is actually made up of three independent apartments: Tarocco and Tangerine that are adjacent to each other and a third apartment known as Navellino slightly detached. Most bedrooms at Villa di Scordia have air conditioning. The swimming pool area is impressive, very spacious with comfortable couches and loungers making it the ideal place to relax during the warmer hours. The rental price includes the daily service of a cook for breakfast and dinner, but not including grocery costs. Guests at Villa di Scordia will have an opportunity to taste the best of Sicilian cuisine prepared by Sergio the local cook. At extra cost, guests may use mountain bikes, the volleyball pitch, the ping pong table and have access to the new five green golf course.
For smaller groups, Villa di Scordia B can accommodate 13 persons.

The villa's layout

Tarocco: from the outer shaded patio a door opens into a large dining-cum-living room with fireplace, terracotta paving and beamed ceiling. Beyond the dining area there is one twin bedroom with an en-suite walk in closet and en-suite bathroom with double shower. To the left of the dining area one double bedroom with walk in closet and bathroom with shower. An external staircase ascends to the first floor where there is a second dining room with en-suite kitchen en suite. A corridor leads to one double and one single bedroom that share a bathroom with shower. A/C only in the DBL of the first floor (7)
Tangerine: To the left of the entrance a spacious bathroom has both shower and tub. Next there is a small living room with kitchenette and luminous French windows that give onto the rear patio. To the right of the living room there is one double bedroom and to the left one double bedroom and twin bedroom with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom with shower. 2/3 bedrooms have A/C(6) Navellino: This unit located on the 1st floor of the owner's house and is slightly detached for the other two. It is composed of a sitting room opening onto a nice covred terrace overlooking the garden. It has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom sharing two bathrooms one with shower the other with tub. 2/3 bedrooms have A/C (6)
