"We are now publishing a newsletter on a regular basis to bring you news and items of general interest to travellers in Italy."
One of the purposes of our newsletters is to invite your attention to the lesser-known corners of Italy and thereby show you what a wealth and diversity of places to visit there is in the “Bel Paese”. The picturesque town of Cetona certainly qualifies. A little away from the too-well trodden paths of “Chiantishire”, Cetona is situated in the south-eastern part of Tuscany, in the area where Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio meet. Montepulciano, Pienza and the picturesque Val D’Orcia are an easy journey. The main Florence/Rome motorway and railway line (Chiusi the nearest station) are only a few kilometres away, enabling you to visit Arezzo and Perugia as well as the two most famous cities of Italy.
