Technical Description of Villa di Martignana in Chianti Ground Floor: The main door opens onto a hall. Stairs to the right lead to the first floor. To the left a glass door provides access to the long spacious drawing room with fireplace. French windows open onto an outside veranda. The dining room next door has a wonderfully frescoed ceiling. There is a fabulous old-style kitchen, yet with all mod-cons and a dining table for 6. A small service bathroom completes the floor. First Floor:At the top of the stairs on the right are three twin bedrooms - two with en suite bathrooms with tubs and the other sharing a bathroom with tub with a double bedroom. On the left of the landing there is a sitting-cum-TV room followed by a further two double bedrooms and two bathrooms one of which en suite; the other is shared with another one bedroom this with a French-size bed. On a slightly raised level there is access to a single bedroom, again with French-size bed and en suite bathroom. These last three bathrooms are equipped with half-size tubs.
