Technical Description of Farmhouse Santa Margherita in Cetona
Ground Floor:
Access to “Santa Margherita” is gained by means of a central inner stairway. Much of the ground floor is still used for storing farm utensils though there is a large play room to the left of the stairway.
First Floor:
At the head of the stairs, the house divides into two sections. Off to the left, a door opens onto a cosy sitting room with dining table, en suite kitchen and mezzanine. Beyond, there is a fine double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub.
The right wing features a spacious dining room and an open kitchen. Here, the dining table can seat up to twenty in comfort and in fact this room has often been used as the venue for cookery lessons. There is also a corner furnished with easy chairs. The three doors on the other side lead to two double bedrooms and a bathroom with tub respectively.
