Il Palagio. is a large manor farmhouse built around a medieval watchtower. It is set in the middle of its own large wine estate which produces the world famous Chianti Rufina. From its towering heights guests will enjoy enchanting views over the Val di Sieve and Rufina. All of its sitting rooms and bedrooms are spacious, and it is splendidly furnished to a very high standard with fine Italian antiques, retaining its original character and the feeling of times gone by.
To be mentioned are the swimming pool area with changing rooms, surrounded by a large garden and the artificial-surface tennis court. Guests at Il Palagio will be looked after by the expert local cook plus two maids working seven days a week for a half day, and more on request.
The Villa sleeps a maximum of 12 persons for an extra cost of Euro 600 in the higher season and 500 in the lower season two more persons can be accommodated.
