Torre del Pellicano. is an ancient Spanish watchtower overlooking the sea. It is close to the Argentario peninsula in Southern Tuscany and not far from the natural beauties of the Maremma National Park.
Perched on a private rocky outcrop above the sea, breathtaking views unfold from its terraces including towards Porto Santo Stefano and the hills of the Argentario peninsula, the medieval walled town of Talamone, and Uccellina Natural Park. Out to sea there are spectacular views of the islands of Giannutri, Il Giglio and Montecristo, with its famous marine natural reserve.
As you approach the front door a small avenue is lined with magnificent cacti – helping to create a romantic and exotic atmosphere.
“Torre del Pellicano” with its lookout tower and two large terraces, is furnished in comfort and style; air-conditioning, satellite TV and an internet connection are all provided. The Tower also has its own outdoor jacuzzi and a pathway down to the sea, with sunbathing area, and a private boat landing.
