Technical Description of Villa Rossetti in Chianti
Ground Floor: Guests gain access to the villa from french windows which lead directly into the spacious living room. A study with TV and a fireplace stands behind the living room. To the right is a finely appointed second living room, and beyond that is the main dining room with a splendidly decorated beamed ceiling. Continuing beyond a small entrance vestibule, there is a second smaller dining room with a fireplace from where you will see steps down to a substantial wine cellar. Behind the second dining room is a roomy kitchen with a laundry room and larders. A long corridor from the kitchen takes you behind the reception rooms, past a guest bathroom to the right, back into the main living room.
First Floor: There are three separate staircases leading to the first floor. The staircase from the kitchen takes you up to a landing and corridor. This corridor runs the length of the floor and has windows overlooking the patio to the right while to the doors on the left open into a twin bedroom overlooking the rose garden, a single room and a dressing-room. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with Jacuzzi. Along the corridor you pass a guest bathroom after which are two more double rooms. These are served by two bathrooms one with shower the other with bathtub. At the end of the corridor is another twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bathtub, and an adjacent single bedroom.
