Casavecchia di Nozzole. is a charming country house located in the heart of Chianti, Tuscany’s rich and fertile winemaking area. Just a few minutes drive from the lively village of Greve, the property is in fact part of a winery owned by an aristocratic Florentine family, famous for producing one of Italy’s finest wines.
Surrounded by vineyards “Casavecchia” stands in a large garden with its own private pool. It has a spacious veranda from where you can enjoy commanding views of the surrounding landscape - rolling hills, vineyards and medieval villages - the ideal venue for al fresco dining and evening aperitifs.
The winery itself stands a few hundred yards from the house and the owner would be delighted to invite guests staying at “Casavecchia” to a special wine-tasting and to the celebrated cuisine classes organised nearby.
