Villa Carmel. is a newly refurbished two storey house located below the coast road just 1 km east of Positano. From the villa’s terraces guests can enjoy magical views over the “Li Galli” island directly in front of the house and to the right towards Positano and the island of Capri.
What is absolutely unique to this villa is its quite stunning views; its terraces, balconies and windows all providing magnificent panoramas of Positano, the coast and the sea. The villa features a small terraced garden and a plunge pool which will be ready in 2009. Villa Carmel is reached by 38 steps down from the coast road, and a gate from the villa leads, via another 200 steps, down to the “Spiaggia Arienzo” a small paying beach with an excellent restaurant and boat service to Positano (just 5 minutes away).
Internally the house is nicely furnished blending contemporary with traditional pieces. To note is the flooring using hand-made local tiles. All five bedrooms have access to a balcony or terrace and en-suite bathrooms, and there is air conditioning throughout. There is a third level above the house which is occupied by the very discrete owner on rare occasions.
